All our dedicated LED products are manufactured using the most suitable components for the application for which they are intended and are built for longevity vastly reducing the need for lamp maintenance in domestic and commercial applications. For full details of our LED warranties, see the Legal Matters page at Franklite.co.uk. Glass: Due to the craftsmanship involved in mouth-blown glassware every glass is unique. Slight variations, such as small bubbles, may appear in the glass which is perfectly normal and is a signature of the manufacturing process. As always, customer satisfaction and safety are our main priorities and all our fittings are subject to stringent quality controls. Each item is individually tested to ensure compliance with the latest requirements and all safety procedures are regularly reviewed and improved. All luminaires are supplied for normal use. Any extraordinary usage or situation should be advised prior to placing an order.

ZONE 1: This is the area directly above the bath tub or shower tray to a height of 2.25m above the floor. The protection required is a minimum of IPX4 (Splash proof) for normal domestic use.

ZONE 2: a) This is the area over the bath tub or shower tray above zone 1. b) This is the area outside zone 1 and extends horizontally 0.6m and vertically 2.25m. The protection required is the same as zone 1.

Bathroom luminaire installations must comply with legislation: Section 701 of BS7671:2008 (Wiring Regulations 18th Edition). A summary of this is detailed above to assist with your choice of bathroom lighting. The above does not apply to communal baths and showers where jets of water are used for cleaning purposes.
